X-Mines-Consult is a non profit association that groups independent consultants. All of them graduated from French “Grandes Ecoles d’Ingénieur” such as: “Ecole Polyetchnique”, “Ecole Centrale”, “Ecole des Mines”…

In France, such “Grandes Ecoles d’Ingénieur” recruit every year through a highly competitive examination students between 18 and 20 years old. Those who pass this examination are especially skilled in sciences (math and physics) and also master general knowledge at a high level (literature, foreign languages…). Scholarship is three years long and encompasses various fields such as: sciences, economics, engineering… These “Grandes Ecoles d’Ingénieur” are particularly prestigious in France, and they have partnerships with the best universities all over the world (MIT, Harvard, Stanford…). Many of the French largest institutions / corporations are run by senior executives graduated from those “Grandes Ecoles”.

Among the alumni of the French “Grandes Ecoles”, there are independent consultants, either senior or junior.

Around 2000, an association was launched to group all these independent consultants exclusively graduated from French “Grandes Ecoles”.

This association was called “X-Mines-Consult”. Today it gathers more than 600 members. Obviously, among all these members, one can find highly contrasted skills and experiences: corporate governance, strategy, finance,  organization/transformation, engineering, IT, operations, marketing & sales, procurement, risk management, …

As a consequence, any foreign organization or company needing assistance and expertise for a project involving French markets can take advantage from one stop shopping: XMC is a large network and it will provide an ad-hoc team made of consultants who will thoroughly cover all the required fields.

It is to be emphasized that any end user contracts on an individual basis with X-Mines-Consult members and not with our Association.

Any party sending requests to our Association is kindly invited to keep us duly posted, especially when a relevant consultant is found elsewhere.
